1000 Philly Smokers. Thank you to Phil Forrest for managing everything and getting everyone’s rear in gear, Brad Larrison for Guerrilla Portrait Leadership and digi-lab leadership, Sarah Fry and James Sindaco for the beautiful book, Walbert Young for the amazing website, Hillary Petrozziello for the cigarette-butt tube and the awesome video (made with some help from Sam Gray and Lee Miller), Jessie Fox for getting the word out about the project (and for baking a MEAN cookie), Lee Miller for the awesome time-lapse videos of the construction process, Arielle Morgan for copy-editing the research essays, Ian Watson for helping with the dust-jacket of the book (and for changing my facebook status when I stay logged in when I leave my computer)…
heck, I could go on and on, so thank you everyone in Photo Seminar class (and the crowd of regulars who were in the dark-room until 2:30 in the morning all this week) who went out and got their pictures done and helped out in every facet of the construction process.
And thank YOU, friends, for coming out and supporting us and checking out our exhibit. Our blood, sweat and tears went into this, but tonight made the past 2 months worth it.
Wow. That about sums it up. I love all my PhotoSem friends. you all made this project so doable, and just so you know, we could have never done this alone. Strength through solidarity!

Props to Hillary Petrozziello, Lee Miller and Sam Grey for making the video. How awesome is this event going to be? I don’t know, let’s ask Hillary Petrozziello herself!
“The 1000 philadelphia smoker exhibit is going to smoke the pants off of anyone who has the privilege of attending.”
WOW! I don’t know about you, but I’m sold. You pretty much HAVE to go.
FRIDAY. 2:00-8:00. ANNENBERG HALL.

PHOTO-of-TODAY
So I kinda have been slacking with the photos everyday, but I know you can forgive me. (whoever you are!) Anyway, Here’s a little something I caught while on a airplane coming back home, it was just after sunset and I swear I was the only still up on the plane. Glad I was!
Editor’s note- Make sure you check out that high-rez jawn!
A couple photos I took while I was back in York Pa for spring break. Most are taken from around my house, some are from Nixon Park, if you’re familiar with that place!
(yesterday) A wise friend once told me:
“If you wait till the last minute, it only takes a minute.”
Man, is that true! Here’s to Crunch Times!
tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
1st memory, eh? Woah, really going back. My first clear memory was when i was only about a year and a half old. My family was in Michigan, visiting relatives, but i remember going camping and the ugly remnant-of-the-80’s tent we used. It was the color of boogers.
